Prerequisite: None
Course Work: 16.5 hours over 3 consecutive days
Practicum: Included in course work
WRS Level I Certification
Prerequisite: Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or related field); WRS Intro Course complete within last 5 years
Course Work: 12 months after registration;
Practicum: 65 1:1 lessons with a lesson plan written for each lesson;
5 observations, 60-75 minutes each
WRS Level II Certification: Track 1
Advanced Strategies for MSL Group Instruction
Prerequisite: Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or related field);
WRS Level I Certification Course Work: 15 hours over 3 consecutive days
Practicum:
WRS Group Mastery Practicum
Prerequisite: Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or related field); WRS Level I Certification; current enrollment in WRS Level II Certification: Advanced Strategies for MSL Group Instruction within past 3 years
Course Work: 15 months from start date
Practicum: 50 lessons
WRS Level II Certification: Track 2
WRS Advanced Word Study: Online Course (Steps 7-12)
Prerequisite: Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or related field); Completion of WRS Intensive Instruction: Online Course (Steps 1-6) or WRS Level I Certification Course Work: 60 hours on-line to be completed within 15 months of start date Practicum: 50 lessons
Graduates:
WRS Steps 7-12 Practicum
Prerequisite: Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or related field); WRS Level I Certification; current enrollment in WRS Level II Certification: Advanced Strategies for MSL Group Instruction within past 3 years
Course Work: 15 months from start date
Practicum: 50 lessons
